Recently, the National Bureau of Statistics released data on crude steel production in 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in 2020. Data show that in 2020, Hebei Province's crude steel output is 249,769,500 tons, ranking first.

The top 10 provinces for crude steel output in 2020 are Hebei, Jiangsu, Shandong, Liaoning, Shanxi, Anhui, Hubei, Henan, Guangdong, and Inner Mongolia. Compared with 2019, except for Hubei Province, the crude steel output of the remaining 9 provinces all increased. See the table below for details:
